ABOUT
BLOSSOM WITH ERIKA

My Philosophy

I believe meaningful change requires both self-accountability and self-compassion. Without honesty about our patterns, growth is limited. But without grace, shame can keep us stuck and disconnected from the very change we are trying to create.

Through my work as a mental health therapist, I learned that real transformation happens when someone is both willing to do the work and is supported in a way that allows them to sustain it.

Over time, I began to notice a deeper question beneath many healing journeys: if someone is willing to take accountability and do the work, why do they feel stuck?

My belief is that healing is not just about effort—it is also perspective, guidance, and the environment in which that growth takes place. When those pieces are missing, even the most committed person can struggle to move forward.

Alongside my professional experience, I bring my own lived journey of healing from people-pleasing, self-worth challenges, and unhealthy relationship patterns. This combination of clinical training and personal transformation has shaped how I approach my work today.

I believe people are more resilient than they realize, healing requires courage, and we are not meant to remain defined by our wounds. My work is centered on helping people rebuild self-worth from within and step into a more grounded, authentic identity.

If you are looking for support in this process, I offer coaching designed to help you gain clarity, build accountability, and reconnect with who you are beyond your past experiences.

Professional Development

I have five years of experience working as a mental health therapist supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults in both private and community settings. My clinical work has included supporting individuals navigating co-occurring disorders, trauma, addiction, and complex life experiences, including survivors of trafficking, formerly incarcerated individuals, and immigrant populations.

For the past two years, I have worked as an Identity Transformation Coach. I also hold training in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), motivational interviewing (MI), solution-focused therapy (SFT), and relationship education (PREP).
